About the Role
A dedicated school is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their primary team. This pivotal role involves providing tailored support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in a specialist learning environment, fostering their academic and personal growth. You will work closely with children on a one-to-one basis and within small groups, guiding those with complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of young learners, helping them to unlock their full potential every day.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalised support to pupils with diverse learning needs, adhering to their EHCPs.
* Facilitate engaging learning activities for individuals and small groups, promoting active participation.
* Assist children with ASD and ADHD to navigate their daily school routine effectively.
* Support the development of communication skills for pupils with speech and language difficulties.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and therapists to implement tailored learning strategies.
* Contribute to creating a positive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, particularly complex learning difficulties.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for inclusive education and a commitment to pupil welfare.
* Display exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents, fostering strong relationships.
* Show a proactive approach to adapting support methods to meet individual pupil requirements.
* Be dedicated to continuous professional development and enhancing your pedagogical skills.
