About the Role
A well-established school is seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to join their specialist provision, offering invaluable assistance to primary pupils on the autism spectrum. This pivotal role involves implementing structured routines, sensory strategies, and communication support to foster a nurturing and effective learning environment. We are considering candidates for a range of contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, starting immediately. The daily rate for this rewarding opportunity is between £90 and £115, reflecting your experience and commitment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils within a specialist ASD provision.
* Implement and maintain structured routines to promote a predictable learning environment.
* Utilise effective sensory strategies to support pupil engagement and well-being.
* Facilitate and enhance communication development through various supportive techniques.
* Assist in adapting learning materials and activities to meet individual pupil needs.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to monitor progress and support pupil targets.

About You
* Demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Possess a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young lives.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to diverse needs.
* Capable of working effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
* Proactive in identifying and implementing effective support strategies.
