The salary for this fulfilling role is competitive, ranging from £95 to £110 per day, reflecting your valuable contribution.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised and small group support to pupils with SEN, adapting strategies to meet their specific requirements.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to different learning styles.
* Implement EHCPs and individual support plans effectively, monitoring progress and reporting observations.
* Encourage pupil independence, self-esteem, and social development throughout the school day.
* Support pupils in managing their behaviour and emotions, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Contribute to the assessment and recording of pupil attainment and progress, collaborating with colleagues.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs in a primary setting.
* Prior experience working with children who have various SEN is highly desirable.
* An empathetic, patient, and resilient approach is fundamental to your professional practice.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
