Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative, challenging, and engaging Maths lessons across the secondary age range.
• Employ a diverse range of teaching strategies to cater to varied learning styles and abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
• Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the departmental curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and respect.
• Engage with parents and guardians regarding student attainment and well-being where appropriate.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for mathematics and an ability to convey its excitement to young people.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be in the process of obtaining it for an immediate start.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional learning.
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate diverse learners.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment, willing to share best practice and support colleagues.
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to begin your journey, or an experienced educator seeking a new challenge (MPS/UPS).
