About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school within a specialist SEN provision. This vital role involves providing tailored support to secondary-aged pupils who have complex needs. You will be instrumental in assisting with the delivery of an adapted curriculum. Your commitment will significantly contribute to fostering independence amongst students.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide focused one-to-one and small group support to pupils requiring complex SEN assistance.
* Assist teaching staff in preparing and adapting engaging learning materials and activities.
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
* Support students with their communication strategies and social skills development.
* Monitor and accurately report on pupil progress, engagement, and any emerging needs.
* Champion student independence by encouraging self-help and organisational skills.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex Special Educational Needs.
* A genuine passion for fostering the learning and development of diverse young people is essential.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with students and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and a resilient attitude define your approach to challenging situations.
* You are capable of working effectively and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
* A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children is paramount.
