This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional school in the Telford area, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide vital support to primary-aged pupils. You will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for children with diverse Special Educational Needs. We are looking for individuals available for a variety of contract types, including Long Term, Daily Supply, Short Term, and Permanent positions, starting as soon as possible. This rewarding position offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £110, reflecting the importance of this supportive role.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning strategies.
* Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development within the classroom setting.
* Promote an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and able to thrive.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback to class teachers and SENCOs.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil support.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary school environment.
* You exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when working with pupils who require additional assistance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build rapport with children, colleagues, and parents.
* You are a proactive and adaptable individual, capable of responding effectively to diverse learning requirements.
