Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons specifically tailored for primary SEN pupils.
* Adapt the national curriculum effectively to address specific EHCP targets and individual learning styles.
* Accurately assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and comprehensive reports.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support holistic development.
* Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued and can thrive.
* Communicate regularly and positively with parents and carers regarding pupil development and achievements.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience within a primary SEN setting.
* You have a strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and their practical application.
* Your communication skills are exemplary, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
* You are adept at creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
* You are a creative and adaptable practitioner, passionate about making a tangible difference to children's lives.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) through to those on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) and Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
