Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-to-one support, adapting strategies to meet the pupil's specific learning styles.
* Build a strong, trusting rapport with the pupil, ensuring a safe and supportive learning atmosphere.
* Effectively implement and monitor targets outlined in the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Collaborate closely with external therapists and specialists, integrating their recommendations into daily practice.
* Assist in fostering the pupil's communication skills and promoting their independence.
* Support the pupil's overall well-being, ensuring a positive and engaging school experience.
About You
* You possess demonstrable experience working with children who have complex special educational needs.
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach is at the core of your professional practice.
* You are an excellent communicator, capable of building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are proactive, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to varying needs and situations.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures is essential.
