Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring and effective French and Spanish lessons across the secondary key stages.
• Develop engaging curriculum materials that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback and tracking academic attainment.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and cultural appreciation.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to contribute to the continuous improvement of the MFL department.
• Prepare students thoroughly for all relevant examinations, ensuring they are equipped for success.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in French, Spanish, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate excellent proficiency and a genuine passion for both French and Spanish languages and cultures.
• Possess the ability to inspire and motivate secondary students, fostering a genuine interest in language learning.
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an optimal learning environment.
• Be a reflective practitioner, eager to engage in continuous professional development and share best practices.
• Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced teachers (MPS/UPS).
