Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated, individualised support to primary pupils within the specialist ASD provision.
* Assist with the successful implementation of individual education plans and learning objectives.
* Facilitate structured daily routines and engage pupils in appropriate sensory regulation activities.
* Support the development of communication skills through a variety of engaging strategies.
* Cultivate a supportive, positive, and inclusive atmosphere for all pupils to flourish.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children with special educational needs, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
* Demonstrable experience of working with children in an educational or care setting is essential.
* A solid understanding of effective strategies for supporting pupils on the autism spectrum is highly valued.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
