Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and differentiated lessons tailored to the specific learning styles and needs of students in SEN secondary settings.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies effectively within the classroom environment.
* Maintain a positive and structured learning atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, promoting respect and cooperation amongst pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and support staff to provide comprehensive student support.
* Assess student progress informally and provide constructive feedback to foster their development.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working within secondary SEN environments.
* You have a genuine passion for supporting students with a range of special educational needs.
* Your adaptability allows you to seamlessly integrate into new school settings and curriculum areas.
* You are an excellent communicator, capable of building rapport with students, staff, and parents.
