We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join an ambitious school in South West London. This specialist primary setting provides exceptional support to pupils with a range of complex learning needs. You will be instrumental in supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) on a 1:1 and small group basis. This vital role involves assisting pupils with conditions such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. We are open to discussing various contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs.
* Actively assist children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties.
* Work closely with class teachers to implement individualised education plans and EHCP objectives effectively.
* Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
* Collaborate with school staff and external professionals to ensure holistic support for children.
* Monitor and accurately record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.

* You possess a genuine passion for supporting the development of children with Special Educational Needs.
* You bring prior experience working within a primary school environment, particularly with SEN pupils.
* You demonstrate a solid understanding of various complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
