About the Role
A flourishing school in the West Midlands is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team. This vital role involves working closely with secondary pupils within a specialist provision, focusing on their social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will be instrumental in providing behaviour support, fostering emotional regulation, and facilitating their successful reintegration into learning environments. We welcome applications from individuals interested in long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, with an immediate start available, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive and safe learning environment.
* Assist pupils in developing emotional regulation and self-awareness skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support individual learning plans.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils into their academic and social routines.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
