Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and challenging Design & Technology lessons across the secondary key stages.
• Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum that inspires creativity and technical proficiency.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment that encourages practical exploration.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to departmental growth.
• Uphold the highest standards of health and safety within practical workshop settings.
About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Hold a relevant degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
• Demonstrate a passion for inspiring students in all aspects of DT.
• Be adept at utilising a range of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Show a commitment to continuous professional development and school values.
• Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced colleagues (MPS/UPS).
