This crucial role involves covering classes across various adapted curriculum areas within specialist secondary SEN settings, providing essential support to pupils with diverse learning needs. We are looking for professionals ready to start as soon as possible, with remuneration paid to scale, aligning with MPS/UPS levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored for secondary pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Effectively adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet individual pupil requirements.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and secure learning environment for all students.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other support staff to enhance pupil outcomes.
* Adhere strictly to the school's safeguarding policies and behavioural guidelines.
* Provide clear and constructive feedback on pupil progress and engagement to relevant staff.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate significant experience working with secondary-aged pupils in Special Educational Needs settings.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, promoting a productive learning atmosphere.
* Show a strong capacity for flexibility and adaptability when integrating into new school environments.
* Hold exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils and staff.
