Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
* Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of all pupils.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to foster a dynamic learning atmosphere.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Science department.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil attendance, progress, and behaviour.
* Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking your first permanent role.
* Possess a strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for science education and inspiring young people.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
