About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join a respected school in South London. You will be instrumental in providing essential support to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a specialist provision. This long-term, permanent role, commencing immediately, offers the chance to make a profound impact on the daily lives and developmental journeys of these incredible young learners.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated one-to-one and small group support to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist pupils with personal care needs, maintaining their dignity and comfort at all times.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance pupil interaction and development.
* Diligently implement tailored therapy programmes under the guidance of specialists.
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for every child.
* Contribute effectively to the assessment and progress monitoring of pupils.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a demanding yet rewarding environment.
* Hold a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of pupils with complex needs.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and capable of responding calmly to various situations.
* Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people.
