Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct, specialist support to secondary pupils experiencing SEMH needs.
* Implement effective strategies for behaviour management and de-escalation.
* Guide pupils in developing robust emotional regulation skills.
* Facilitate pupils' successful reintegration into classroom learning and school life.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to create individualised support plans.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting support as required.
About You
* Possess proven experience working with secondary-aged pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of effective strategies for managing challenging behaviours.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
* Hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with pupils and staff.
