About the Role
A flourishing school in the South East of England is actively seeking a dedicated ASD Support Assistant to join our specialist primary provision immediately. This vital role involves providing tailored support to pupils on the autism spectrum, implementing structured routines, utilising effective sensory strategies, and enhancing communication within a nurturing educational setting. We offer a variety of contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent opportunities, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £115, reflecting your experience and commitment. This is a chance to make a profound difference to children's learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement individualised support plans for primary pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
* Facilitate positive communication development using a range of appropriate strategies.
* Create and maintain a consistent, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
* Assist with the delivery of engaging educational activities across various subjects.
* Support pupils in managing sensory needs and developing effective self-regulation skills.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other multidisciplinary professionals.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting primary pupils with special educational needs.
* Demonstrable experience working with children on the autism spectrum is essential.
* You have a strong understanding of communication and sensory strategies tailored for ASD.
* Your approach is patient, resilient, and you possess excellent interpersonal skills.
* You are committed to fostering an inclusive and profoundly supportive learning environment.
* Relevant qualifications or equivalent practical experience in SEN support are highly valued.
