You will be instrumental in delivering an adapted curriculum to pupils with complex learning needs within supportive small group settings. We are seeking dedicated educators for a variety of flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or even a permanent position, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver an engaging and adapted curriculum tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment within small group settings.
* Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans to support complex learning requirements.
* Assess pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback and adapting strategies.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise pupil outcomes.
* Contribute to the broader life and ethos of the school community.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Demonstrate proven experience working with pupils with complex learning needs within a secondary setting.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for creating accessible and engaging educational experiences.
* Be skilled in adapting curriculum content to meet diverse individual requirements.
* Show excellent communication and collaborative skills when working with colleagues and parents.
* Hold an understanding of relevant SEN frameworks and best practice approaches.
