This fulfilling long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent role commencing as soon as possible offers the chance to empower primary-aged pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will provide vital 1:1 and small group support to children experiencing complex learning needs, including those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. This position presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a child's educational journey within a truly supportive environment, earning a competitive salary of £90 to £115 per day, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with diverse learning needs.
* Implement engaging learning activities based on individualised education plans and EHCPs.
* Assist in fostering the development of crucial social, communication, and academic skills.
* Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child can thrive.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and specialist professionals to ensure holistic pupil progress.
* Monitor and accurately record pupil achievements and challenges, providing valuable feedback.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
* Demonstrable experience with pupils presenting ASD, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties is highly advantageous.
