About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join a thriving school in the Braintree area, specialising in Special Educational Needs. This long-term, permanent opportunity involves working within a specialist provision to support primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will play a crucial part in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, contributing significantly to the students' development and well-being. This role offers an immediate start, providing a consistent daily rate of £95-£120.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
* Assist with personal care routines, ensuring dignity and comfort for all students.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance learning experiences.
* Implement individualised therapy programmes as directed by specialists.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other professionals to support pupil progress.
* Contribute to creating a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.

* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with complex learning needs.
* You have previous experience working with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* You demonstrate empathy, patience, and a commitment to safeguarding.
