About the Role
An ambitious primary school is seeking a dedicated and inspiring SEN Class Teacher to make a significant impact within their specialist setting. This challenging role involves leading a small group of pupils, all with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), through a tailored curriculum designed to meet their unique learning needs. You will be instrumental in adapting the national curriculum, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for a small class of primary-aged pupils with EHCPs.
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans that respond to diverse educational requirements.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
* Regularly assess pupil development and adjust teaching strategies to maximise learning outcomes.
* Maintain open and productive communication with families, celebrating achievements and addressing concerns.
* Contribute actively to the school's commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in SEN provision.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong passion for SEN education at primary level.
* You demonstrate excellent understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective support strategies.
* You are adept at adapting the national curriculum to create accessible and stimulating learning experiences.
* You thrive on working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
* You possess outstanding communication skills, enabling effective engagement with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
