Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care routines, maintaining dignity and promoting independence.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance learning and development.
* Implement individualised therapy programmes under the guidance of specialists.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
* Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and highly supportive learning environment.
About You
* Possess previous experience working with children or young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Demonstrate exceptional empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to connect with pupils.
* Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent, is desirable.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
