About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic school in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This vital role involves managing classrooms and ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences across various subjects in a secondary setting. We are looking for individuals available for long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent opportunities, with an immediate start available. The position offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £145 to £160, reflecting your invaluable contribution to our students' educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
* Respond to student queries and provide appropriate support or guidance.
* Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
* Report any safeguarding concerns or significant incidents to the relevant staff members.
* Record student attendance accurately and promptly for each lesson.

About You
* You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* You have proven experience in managing groups of young people, ideally within a secondary school environment.
* You demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies and a calm approach.
* You are adaptable, resilient, and able to think on your feet.
* You are proactive in supporting student engagement and learning.
* You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to apply for one.
