This vital role focuses on providing specialist support to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs within a nurturing educational setting. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive learning environment, employing effective de-escalation techniques, and building strong, trusting relationships with young learners. We offer flexible contract options, including daily supply, short-term, long-term, and permanent roles, with an attractive daily rate ranging from £95 to £120, commencing as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils identified with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Successfully implement de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively.
* Cultivate strong, positive, and professional relationships with pupils, promoting their well-being.
* Assist teaching staff in the delivery of engaging and differentiated learning activities.
* Actively contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all.
* Monitor pupil progress, behaviour, and engagement, providing constructive feedback to relevant staff.
