Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective strategies for behaviour management and de-escalation.
* Support pupils in developing their emotional regulation skills and resilience.
* Assist in creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all students.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress and adapt support plans.
* Actively contribute to the reintegration of pupils into mainstream learning where appropriate.
About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a support capacity.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport.
* Show a proactive and resilient approach to challenging situations.
* Hold a commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing educational setting.
* Be enthusiastic about continuous professional development within SEN provision.
