Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Deliver an engaging and accessible curriculum to secondary pupils with diverse complex learning difficulties.
* Assess pupil progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback and adapting strategies accordingly.
* Manage a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and independence.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other professionals to maximise pupil outcomes.
* Contribute to the development of personalised learning pathways for all pupils.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant for the secondary phase.
* Demonstrate significant experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, particularly in a secondary school context.
* Have a genuine passion for supporting and advocating for young people with complex learning difficulties.
* Exhibit excellent behaviour management strategies suited to small group settings.
* Show a proven ability to differentiate learning materials and teaching approaches effectively.
* Possess strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
