This specialist primary school provides a nurturing environment for pupils with EHCPs, focusing on individualised learning. You will be responsible for teaching small groups of pupils, adapting the national curriculum to meet diverse needs. This role involves close collaboration with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support pupil progress. We are offering flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver tailored lessons to small groups of primary-aged pupils with EHCPs.
* Skillfully adapt the national curriculum to suit the diverse learning styles and requirements of each child.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic pupil support.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in conjunction with families and specialist staff.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every pupil feels valued.
* Regularly assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a genuine passion for SEN education.
