At a thriving primary school, we are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, providing crucial assistance to pupils with special educational needs. This fulfilling role involves collaborating closely with class teachers to ensure every child achieves their full potential within a mainstream setting. We are looking for individuals available for a range of engagements, from daily supply to long-term and permanent opportunities, offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110. Your passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment will be invaluable from an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.
* Assist in adapting learning materials and classroom activities to meet individual pupil requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Encourage pupils' social and emotional development, fostering a positive learning experience.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessment and review processes.
* Promote an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
About You
* You possess previous experience supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
* You exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* You are patient, adaptable, and resilient, able to respond effectively to diverse learning styles.
* You hold relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with SEN.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a school community.
