Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to primary pupils with diverse special educational needs.
• Assist teachers in creating an accessible and stimulating learning environment for all children.
• Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and communicate pupil progress effectively.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interactions, promoting pupils' independence and self-esteem.
• Adapt learning materials and activities to meet the specific requirements of pupils with SEN.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
• Demonstrate previous experience working with primary-aged pupils, particularly those requiring additional support.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport with children and colleagues.
