About the Role
A respected school in the Telford area is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide invaluable support within its specialist primary environment. This role involves working closely with pupils who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), both on a one-to-one basis and within small group settings. You will be instrumental in assisting children with complex learning needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties, fostering their progress and engagement. We are looking for someone ready to start as soon as possible, with various contract options available from daily supply to permanent placements.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils holding Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Facilitate one-to-one learning sessions, adapting methods to individual needs.
* Lead small group activities, ensuring all children are actively involved.
* Assist in implementing personalised learning strategies for pupils with complex needs.
* Support children exhibiting conditions such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
* You demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience in challenging situations.
* You have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within an SEN setting.
* You are skilled in adapting your approach to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
* You can communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents/carers.
* You are proactive and committed to making a tangible difference in children's lives.
