Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
• Assist class teachers in creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all children.
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies effectively.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
• Foster positive behaviour management and develop social skills among pupils.
• Adapt learning materials and activities to meet diverse pupil requirements.
About You
• Possess previous experience supporting primary-aged children with Special Educational Needs.
• Demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic classroom setting.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, pupils, and parents.
• Be proactive and adaptable, responding positively to evolving pupil needs and school priorities.
• Hold relevant qualifications or training in SEN support, or a demonstrable passion for this field.
• Show a genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
