About the Role
We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a dynamic school committed to providing outstanding support for its primary pupils with special educational needs. This challenging yet incredibly rewarding role involves working closely with children who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), delivering targeted interventions both 1:1 and within small groups. You will play a crucial part in supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties, empowering them to achieve their full potential within a specialist primary setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement individualised support plans that address specific learning objectives for pupils with EHCPs.
* Deliver engaging and effective interventions in one-to-one and small group capacities.
* Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued.
* Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning resources to meet diverse pupil requirements.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, providing valuable feedback to the class teacher and SENCO.
* Collaborate proactively with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to ensure holistic pupil development.

About You
* You possess demonstrable experience supporting primary-aged pupils with special educational needs, particularly ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* A genuine passion for making a profound positive impact on children's educational and personal growth drives your practice.
* You exhibit exceptional resilience and adaptability when encountering varied and complex learning challenges.
* Strong communication skills enable you to build rapport with pupils, staff, and families effectively.
* You are capable of working autonomously while also thriving as an integral member of a supportive team.
* A comprehensive understanding of positive behaviour management strategies underpins your approach to pupil interaction.
