About the Role
A forward-thinking school in Shrewsbury is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary team. This pivotal role involves providing essential support across the curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and assisting pupils with their academic and personal development. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or even a permanent position, starting as soon as possible, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive support to pupils across various subjects in the primary phase.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
* Work effectively with individuals and small groups, including those with Special Educational Needs.
* Help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment within the classroom.
* Support pupil behaviour management and promote positive social interactions.
* Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress under teacher guidance.

About You
* You possess previous experience working with primary-aged children, ideally as a Teaching Assistant.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for engaging with pupils, staff, and parents.
* You are a proactive and adaptable individual, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* You hold a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
* You are keen to contribute positively to a supportive school community in Shrewsbury.
