About the Role

You will be instrumental in supporting pupils with diverse special educational needs, adapting strategies to individual learning styles, and playing a key part in their daily progress and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other pupil support strategies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes pupil engagement and confidence.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing valuable feedback on their achievements and challenges.
• Support pupils in developing independent learning skills and managing their social and emotional well-being.

About You
• Possess previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a primary setting.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting the development and achievement of all pupils.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Show resilience and adaptability in responding to diverse learning styles and individual pupil requirements.
• Be proactive and resourceful, capable of implementing creative solutions to support learning.
• Hold relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs support (desirable).
