Key Responsibilities
• Provide engaging support for children aged 0-5, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, play, and personal care, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Contribute to planning and delivering stimulating activities that align with early years learning frameworks.
• Observe and accurately record children's progress, sharing insights with colleagues and parents.
• Collaborate effectively with the early years team to maintain a cohesive and supportive atmosphere.
• Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children remains the highest priority at all times.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of child development.
• Hold relevant experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Exhibit patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Be a committed team player, adaptable and willing to contribute to a positive school culture.
• Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, or be working towards one.
