Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging Science lessons to secondary school pupils.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
* Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum.
* Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives to enhance the educational experience.
* Uphold high standards of teaching and learning, consistently striving for excellence in the classroom.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in a Science subject.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced teachers at Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for Science and an ability to make complex concepts accessible and exciting for students.
* You are skilled in effective classroom management, creating an organised and productive learning space.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
* You are a collaborative team player, eager to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking department.
