We are recruiting experienced Secondary Teachers for day-to-day and long-term supply positions across a range of schools in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. Whether you are looking for flexibility or a longer-term placement, we have opportunities to suit your preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and cover a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Adapt to different school settings, year groups, and subject areas with confidence.
• Take registers, follow school policies, and provide feedback to staff on lesson outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues across multiple settings.
• For long-term roles, contribute to planning, assessment, and departmental activities.
About You:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching at the secondary level in UK schools.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students across different subjects.
• A flexible, professional, and resilient approach to working in varied school environments.
• Open to covering general subjects as well as your specialism.
• ECTs through to experienced teachers on MPS or UPS are welcome to apply.
