About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a progressive school located in the West Midlands, within the vibrant county of Shropshire, on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire secondary students across all key stages, fostering a deep appreciation for scientific inquiry and discovery within a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to secondary pupils across various age groups and abilities.
* Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that promotes critical thinking and practical skills in Science.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Contribute actively to the wider school community, participating in departmental meetings and school events.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
* Provide constructive feedback and support to pupils, guiding their academic and personal growth.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Demonstrate a profound passion for Science and its effective communication to young people.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to high-quality teaching.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), a Main Pay Scale (MPS) teacher, or an Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teacher.
* Show a dedication to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
* Inspire pupils to achieve their full potential in Science and beyond.
