About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated school team in South West London. This vital role involves providing tailored support to primary-aged pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and a range of complex learning needs. You will work closely with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment for those with conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. Opportunities for both long-term commitments and flexible daily supply engagements are available, with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
* Encourage the social, emotional, and academic development of every child.
* Support pupils in managing their learning environment and behaviour effectively.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and other specialists to ensure a cohesive approach.
* Facilitate positive communication and engagement within the school community.

About You
* You possess previous experience supporting primary-aged children with special educational needs, particularly ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* An understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and their practical application is essential.
* You demonstrate a patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to supporting diverse learning styles.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a key strength you bring.
* You are dedicated to promoting independence and building confidence in young learners.
