About the Role
A dynamic school in the heart of Essex is seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher to enrich our thriving secondary science department. This long-term, permanent opportunity, starting ideally in September or sooner, invites an inspiring educator with a specialism in Biology and Chemistry to contribute to our vibrant learning community in Chelmsford. You will play a crucial role in fostering a love for science among our students, guiding them through engaging and challenging curricula.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver outstanding Biology lessons across key stages, inspiring students of all abilities.
* Cultivate a stimulating and supportive classroom environment where every student feels empowered to learn.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum, particularly within Biology and Chemistry.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school community initiatives.
* Uphold the school’s commitment to high educational standards and student welfare.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Biology and a strong ability to teach Chemistry to a high standard.
* Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to begin your journey, or an experienced educator (MPS/UPS) seeking a new challenge.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
* Have an unwavering dedication to promoting student achievement and holistic well-being.
