About the Role
A progressive school is seeking an enthusiastic Physics Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry to join their dynamic Science department on a long-term, permanent contract, commencing in September or sooner. Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across key stages, effectively integrating Chemistry concepts where appropriate.
• Assess and monitor student progress meticulously, providing timely and constructive feedback to facilitate academic growth.
• Cultivate a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum, ensuring relevance and challenge for all pupils.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, school-wide events, and contribute to the broader life of the school.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and behaviour in line with school policies.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Possess a strong subject knowledge in both Physics and Chemistry, suitable for teaching at secondary level.
• Be an inspiring and dedicated educator, equally suited for an experienced professional or an Early Career Teacher.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a genuine passion for igniting student curiosity in science.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Show a proactive commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies.
