Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver creative, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement positive behaviour management strategies consistently to cultivate a calm and focused learning atmosphere.
* Develop robust therapeutic relationships with pupils, understanding their individual needs and promoting emotional well-being.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to provide comprehensive pupil support.
* Regularly assess pupil attainment and progress, adapting teaching methodologies to maximise outcomes.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, celebrating achievements and addressing concerns collaboratively.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working with primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
* Exhibit exceptional behaviour management skills, coupled with a proactive and empathetic approach.
* Hold a genuine passion for making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable young learners.
* Capable of planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and challenges.
* Demonstrate resilience, patience, and a calm demeanour when navigating complex classroom dynamics.
