Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to secondary pupils with complex SEN.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging, adapted learning activities across various subjects.
* Support pupils in developing essential life skills and fostering their journey towards greater independence.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and therapists to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to ongoing assessments and planning.
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with special educational needs.
* You have demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN setting.
* An understanding of various complex needs and strategies to support diverse learners is essential.
* You are an empathetic, patient, and resilient individual with excellent communication skills.
* You are proactive in your approach, eager to learn, and committed to continuous professional development.
* You hold relevant qualifications or professional development in supporting SEN.
