About the Role
A progressive school is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join its specialist secondary provision. This vital role involves passionately re-engaging disaffected learners and expertly managing complex behaviours. You will be responsible for delivering a modified curriculum tailored to meet individual needs. The position offers an opportunity to make a profound difference to young people's educational journeys. Various contract options are available, including long-term, daily supply, and permanent roles.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver an engaging, differentiated curriculum specifically for SEMH secondary students.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a calm and productive learning atmosphere.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
* Work collaboratively with support staff and external agencies to ensure holistic student development.
* Contribute positively to the school's inclusive culture and promote a strong sense of belonging.
* Safeguard the welfare and promote the personal growth of all young people in your care.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged SEMH learners.
* A strong track record of successfully managing challenging behaviours within an educational setting is essential.
* You are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and can thrive.
* Excellent communication skills allow you to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.
* You are resilient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning.
* A creative and flexible approach to teaching is vital for adapting to diverse learning styles and needs.
