About the Role
A dedicated school is seeking a compassionate and resilient individual to join their specialist provision as a PMLD Support Assistant, focusing on primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. This long-term, permanent contract offers an immediate start for a professional eager to make a significant and lasting impact on children's educational journeys. You will be instrumental in creating an environment where every pupil can thrive, supporting their diverse needs with dedication and expertise, whilst earning a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support, adapting strategies to meet the unique and complex needs of pupils with PMLD.
* Assist pupils with personal care requirements, maintaining dignity and promoting independence where possible.
* Facilitate engaging and stimulating sensory activities designed to enhance learning and interaction.
* Implement individualised therapy programmes, contributing to the holistic development of each child.
* Cultivate a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates every achievement.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure coordinated care.

About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Experience in a SEN environment, particularly with PMLD, is highly advantageous, though not essential for the right candidate.
* Exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience are core attributes you bring to your work.
* You demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, understanding and responding to non-verbal cues.
* A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to embrace new learning challenges define your work ethic.
* You are deeply committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils in your care.
