An exceptional school is looking for a dedicated Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to enrich its vibrant primary setting. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive support to pupils across mainstream classes, including tailored assistance for those with Special Educational Needs. We are offering a variety of contract types, from long-term and daily supply to short-term and permanent positions, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily salary of £95 to £110, recognising their vital contribution to pupil progress and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with SEN, to overcome learning barriers.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere for all children.
* Support the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, communicating observations effectively to teaching staff.
* Help manage classroom resources and maintain an organised, safe learning environment.
About You
* Hold a recognised Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Possess demonstrable experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
* Have a genuine passion for supporting pupil learning and fostering individual growth.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
