About the Role
A respected school is seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join its specialist primary provision, focusing on pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. This challenging and rewarding long-term, permanent role is available for an immediate start, offering the chance to make a profound difference to young lives. You will provide crucial support within an inclusive educational setting, contributing to the holistic development of pupils. This vital position offers a daily rate of £95 - £120, commensurate with the significant responsibilities involved.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect for all pupils.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance learning and development.
* Implement individualised therapy programmes as directed by specialists.
* Support pupils' communication, mobility, and independence across the school day.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support approach.

About You
* You possess proven experience supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, ideally within a primary school setting.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when working with complex needs.
* A genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment is essential.
* You are confident and competent in assisting with personal care requirements, always maintaining professional standards.
* You are a proactive and adaptable individual, capable of responding to diverse pupil needs.
* You are an excellent communicator, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
