About the Role
At a progressive school, we are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary environment. This crucial role involves providing tailored support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), both on a one-to-one basis and within small group settings. You will be instrumental in fostering the development of children facing complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech and language difficulties. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, all starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalised support to primary pupils holding Education, Health and Care Plans.
* Facilitate learning for children with complex needs such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Implement engaging activities designed for both one-to-one and small group interventions.
* Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child can thrive.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and therapists to adapt learning materials.
* Accurately monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to ongoing developmental assessments.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting the growth and well-being of primary school children with SEN.
* Demonstrate previous experience working effectively with complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Show a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to daily challenges and individual pupil needs.
* Thrive within a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to school-wide goals.
* Maintain a proactive and adaptable mindset, ready to respond to diverse educational requirements.
